Our carbon neutral bakery
Boiceville has been our home since 1983, and is the heart and soul of Bread Alone. We renovated in 2021 and built a carbon neutral bakery powered by 350kW of solar power. Our new Boiceville location represents the next chapter in our story. And we’re just getting started.

the renovation
Boiceville has been our home since 1983. From 2021-22 we reimagined the property, building a fully electrified bakery and cafe that runs off of a 366kW on-site solar array. We bake using electricity for our modern ovens, and scrap wood for our Lefort wood-fired ovens.
