What makes it special

Our Miche is both one of our original and most popular breads. As nutty as it is sour, this impressively large loaf is deeply satisfying and healthy.

Made with organic whole wheat, spelt, wheat and rye flours plus water and salt, our Miche ferments slowly over 26 hours and is then baked in a wood-fired oven at our fossil-fuel-free Boiceville bakery. It is a hearty, brown bread with a tight crumb and a crisp, chewy crust.

The Miche is available to bring home in quarters and halves, as well as whole loaves for the not-faint-of-heart!
